Recipe: Alison Roman’s Dining In (she also has a similar Crispy Chicken Leg recipe on Bon Appetit)
Total Time: 2 hours
Review: Zak loves chicken legs, I think he has an internal clock for when he goes without them for too long. So, he was excited to have them back in his life. We were not as excited when we realized this would take about 2 hours to cook and ended up mostly eating cheese and apples for dinner. But when it was done, it was glorious!! Crisping the skin at the end is genius and the chicken was literally falling off the bone. I thought the potatoes could’ve been cooked a little more; they weren’t completely submerged in the oil so maybe that was the problem. Next time, I would’ve cut them in half to make sure they were nice and soft.
