Review: I definitely overbaked these cookies, and it was literally 90 degrees in my apartment, so the dough was a little warm when they went into the oven and they spread a whole bunch. But, cookies are cookies and they still came out great. Chris Morocco was on the podcast (Episode 218) to discuss and I thought it was really interesting what he said about browning the butter to build flavor. I had never thought too much about my Toll House standbys, but I think the browned butter and extra yolks did help pump up these cookies a bit. But maybe if you have a half hour, trying chillin’ that dough to #stopthespread.
